I am going to upgrade my steering from Manual to power. Is there anything special I need to know about doing this? Will I have to change the column? I know I will need a Power steering box, A power steering pump, and power steering lines. Is that all?

Thanks
Matthew

I'm looking at doing the same thing actually. In addition to what you've listed, you're going to need:

Mounting brackets, rag joint (splined for PS box), pitman arm (different than the manual one), and a pulley if the pump you buy doesn't come with one.

One thing I've found, is a kit from unisteer that has a pump, lines, pulley, brackets and reservoir for $404 right now with their discount and shipping. I just need to make sure that pump will be well suited for use with a Lee Mfg. steering box.

Matt,

Take a look at this posting we did for all of the Pro-Touring members:

Jeff,

We have pumps (high-flow) that are compatible with the 600 series boxes, just be sure to let us know that when you call us or let us know after you order online because we generally sell our pumps in a "low-flow" configuration to compliment our rack and pinion kits.
