Looking for sub frame connectors that won't force me to cut though the floor boards.. Thinking either Global west or hotchkis ,, this is for 68 camaro convert i'm working on i'm calling The CreamSICKle... between global and hotchkis is one better then the other for a 68 convert?

Just installed the GW's on my 69 Bird Coupe last night. The fit was excellent and they "hug" the car very well. Pics here:

I can't speak for the Hotchkis SFC's as I have yet to see them in person, but the GW stuff SFC's for the 1st gen convert fit like a glove.
Make sure you replace the body mounts at the same time

I used Comp Eng subs that were made for the coupe on my 69 vert. Welded both ends then cut a slot out of the lateral brace and the shaft of the sub fit into that slot, snug against the floor. Then welded the sub to the lateral brace for a factory look. Stiff as heck!
