4th gen headers on 1st gen?

just wondering how close the 4th gen headers would come to fitting a 1st gen w/ls1.is it close enough to maybe modify a couple tubes to fit or not even close.
reason i ask is i can get a set of flp 4th gen headers for $250.for that price,if i could just change a couple tubes,it might be worth it.

No clue if they would fit or not but I would be very intrested to find out. I am sure the passenger side would fit, but the drivers is probably going to hit the steering box. Let me know what you find out.

i would think that with all the swaps done someone would have tried to see if the 4th gen headers would work.

Tried it a few years back with a set of Hooker headers, it didn't work. I don't remember what all was wrong, I slept since then, but it wasn't good.

i modified a set of pacesetters to work. i had to redo two tubes to clear the power steering. i bailed on the project before i finished it though. I still have the headers if interested.
