my car is about ready to run. after i break in my cam what should i do to break in the motor? should i keep the rpms low? how long does it take before one can put the motor through its paces? whats a good proceedure for break in?

Get it tuned, change the oil, if it has oil pressure, and it is not running warm or making any noises, take it to the street and put it to the wood. If it is right, it should be fine. Never lost one yet!

To back up what Frank said, on the dyno where I used to work, on anything with a roller cam in it, we'd set timing, check for leaks, get it up to temp, and pull it. No break in.

sweet thats awsome to hear. im so excited right now for the start up im almost shaking. my girl friend is getting up set because i never see her because its crunch time with the car.
