I am trying to pickout a set of gauges for my Chevelle project, and wondered if any of you guys have experience with the new Autometer C2 gauges?

I like the blue, back-lit look, but am thinking maybe it might get hard on the eyes at night. Illuminated, the Ultra-Lite II's actually look a lot like the guage color's in my '04 Honda Accord (which is very easy on the eyes) linked here; http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugeop.aspx?sid=61
I'd like to see feedback from anyone who has used the C2's, or Ultra-Lite II's for that matter (I haven't found a lot of talk about these gauges)
Anything helps, Thanks!

I vote for the Ultra Lite II, to me the C2 gauges look kind of Ricey.

UL-II's...
The dual illumnation is what I really like with that line. I am not a big fan of "Holy Cow" bright lighting at night and the rear illumination (black) helps with that. Well... that and it just looks killer... and kinda mixes it up too. Its like having two colors in one, so you wont get board with them.
The only con to me is... they are too small. I like the 2 5/8 and 5 inchers better. 2 1/16 and 3 3/8"s just doesnt cut it for me, personally.

I have the Ultralite 2's and I love them. The night brightness is really nice and not too blinding (can't adjust intensity). Last night was the first night I drove with them and they are very easy to read at night. They are 100x's better than the ultralite 1's I had before (for night driving). Here is a night picture of them:

Madmalibu, if you are looking into buying a set of autometers give Frank at GPsuperstore.com a call. I saved over $100 compared to summit and jegs.

Those UL-IIs look great. I don't see very well at night so I need something on the bright side. Only thing I don't like is the huge Ultra-Lite II billboard on the dial face.
I like the new Stewart Warner gauges Steve put on Penny too. Not sure if the the dial shows up very well from the pictures he posted though.

I just put the C2's in my '70 Vette. I love the 270 degree sweep (for voltmeter and fuel quantity), and they work with my interior light dimmer switch.
