Hi,
I'm building an unusual streetrod project, a 27 Cadillac. I'm looking looking for an IFS. The car weighs about 4000 to 4200 pounds. I need a rear steer power rack.
I want it to ride well, but since the 27 is a fairly open front fender setup, looks are as important. I understand that there will not be an off the shelf solution. I don't want a mustang II.

This is the lkist of manufacturers I've ruled out:

Kugel, Says car too heavy, will not supply

Progressive, Only front steer

Morrison, Only front steer

TCI, car too heavy

Heidts, Only 28” frame width, car too heavy

Fatman, A 33 LaSalle owner not happy, already broke two bushings. I don’t like the looks of his MII setup.

So, these are the 2 I'm considering:
Scotts, They say they can do it. have solid rod polished stainless control arms....but i've heard bad feedback.

Jim Meyer Racing, they said no problem. They have a heavy duty rear steer GM based IFS, no stainless parts, just raw steel.

Thats where I am so far...
Your thoughts/ comments will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
