Well i finally am able to do some more work on the 70 Cutlass again. I have some rust on the drivers side floor pan to fix up. I am drilling out the spot welds on the center floor brace so that i can remove it. The worst part of the floor is above the center brace. I have finally removed everything from the interior of the car so i have less weight when i flip the car on it's side. I bought a full length drivers side pan and a new center brace but i think i might be able to reuse the original center brace. The new center brace has the seatbelt holes in a different spot than my original. Now since my car was originally a bench seat car i am not sure if the bucket seat seatbelt location is different or the same. The original holes are more forward than the repo piece. I am going to bucket seats.

It's been awhile but i'm back at it again. I got the floor all zip screwed and ready to weld in.

What kind of drive line/suspension are you going to put in the car?

Welded in the floor, turned out pretty good for my first time. There was lots of grinding tho! I had to weld in 260 zip screw holes! lol

I got the firewall and the underside sandblasted, and the pass side quarter sanded down to the steel.

Laid down some epoxy primer today. The weather here is suppossed to to take a turn for the worse so i thought i should get the bare metal covered while i still had nice weather. I sprayed the pass side quarter, drivers side floor, firewall, and the underneath. The patches on the quarter panel will be fixed but i am leaving that up to a pro lol.

the coke bottle shape on these cars is so gorgeous especially when it's bare metal. Keep up the good work.
