The car has been jammed with GM White Diamond Pearl. I picked that color cause I saw a escalade under the lights at the local drag strip. It really popped. I'm considering doing it in the white with metallic black stripes. What are the opionions on this color?

is that paint code 800J? I would think that a solid black stripe might would look better. but just my opinion.

Not to be mean but that pic is terrible...
I had a 2001 Deville DTS in the White Diamond and it is a kick ass color... Not really sure another color would do it justice...
Do you have any better pics??

not sure about the paint code. I told my body guy that I wanted the escalade color and that's what he brought. That is an old pic. Probably not even dusted off. I'll work on some better ones with good light. I was thinking the regular z28 stripes. What do you mean by a solid stripe?
skeeter65 how do you like the color at night under bright lights.
I kinda chose the white because of the body work and the decrease in the visibility of scratches. I have a black truck and it gets scratch marks from the wind.
Killer color. Always wanted to do a project with it. I think a semi-gloss black stripe would look great. Or even a dark metalic charcol color kinda like what the dodge pickups come with. Arg.........wish i had money, damn school.

Still torn between colors. If i go with the white then I want some kind of metallic black Z28 stripes.
Another color that I like is the chevy charcoal grey. If I go that route i don't think I'll put any stripes on.

The color is great under bright lights.. It is a great color all around.. There are alot of variations on the color so make sure your buddy gives you the paint code so you can make more if needed.. If you look at a bunch of White Diamond Caddy's you will start to notice that there are some that look alittle more Pink some more green.. Call a Caddy dealer and talk to the body shop, they hate painting those cars..

you'd be fine with black interior dude.
i like the idea of Diamond Pearl with silver or grey stripes.

IMO black metallic paints looks like it is dusty when it is clean. Just take a look at your local new car dealer and look at ALL the different shades of black. If you go with black stripes just go base black then clear. I also think the charcoal would look classy as well.
