I'd like to know how this suspension set-up is.
Has anybody else done this? What modifications are needed to make this work? I have the same wheels for the 67 and want to know if the stock width of the C4 IRS is perfect for this mod.

Any help would be great!

Try Mr.Quick or zbugger, I believe they could help you with info about that particular Camaro if I'm not mistaken.

For everyones reference its an early dana 44 (narrower and no abs) c4 irs setup installed with a wayne due kit. If you were planning on going with late model wheels look into an 87+ (or it might be 89+) rear end as they are wider so would require less adapter, and have slightly larger brakes.

As for the wheels they both required large adapters. If memory serves me correct they were 1.25" front and 2" rear however please do your own measuring before thinking of buying anything. Also both front and rears were a tight fit so if you have the budget it may be worth it to spend it on a set of wheels with the correct backspacing. Lastly if you are just in love with the style of wheel (or c6z) they are made by aftermarket company in many different offsetts and sizes for other vehicles so do some searching and you may find something that fits off the rack, I just went with the c6 wheels because they would clear the c6z brakes and I got a killer deal on them.

Oh and that was my car, sold it about a year back Vince and Allen finished it up for me which included the rear end so if you were to persue that any further (which I would NOT reccomend) talk to one of them.

That car is cool, love black and gunmetal wheels.
