Bob is in St. Louis right now headed that way. They plan to really step up the record on the XLR and he is going to get some seat time too. Be sure and hunt him up.

well we made it to impound, went 258 on a 255 record but should have been much faster, the car got loose and pulled the shoot one mile early. We will see what happens in the morning

Congrats on the pass. How many passes did you get to run today?

Have you seen Bob yet?
He said they made a 228 pass which qualified them for a trip to impound, but he wants more so they are going to tune some more tomorrow. He said the car starts running bad at about 225, sounds like a fuel tune issue. He is hoping for a 250 pass tomorrow.

Just got off the phone with Bob. Looks like weather is going to be the factor this time. If it rains tonight there, and they say that it probably will, everyone is packing up and headed home. Supposed to have SNOW Sunday!!!

Fastest pass in the XLR so far is 228. Fast enough to set a new record, but not what they are after so probably will not bother with backing it up.
