Whats the difference in a T350 and a T400?

Please excuse my ignorance, I am more familiar with my old Muncie 4 speed but can anyome tell me the difference between a Turbo 350 and a Turbo 400? Is the Turbo 400 a good tranny? My new project has one and I need to decide its fate....

Well TH400 has more rotating mass that eats horsepower. how much power are you looking at? TH350s can handle alot of torque and power.
