How mechanically inclined are you? How extensive is your toolbox? None of it is rocket science and I'm assuming you've got instructions with the kits, but you need to go with your comfort level and base your decision to install yourself or hire an installer on that. What's hard for one person may not be for another.
The problem with not doing it yourself is that you then may not be as prepared to handle the shakedown of the new brakes yourself. You're putting custom brakes on your car...this typically requires a certain amount of testing and tuning and the more knowledgeable you are about your brakes, the more equipped you will be to get the most out of your new system.

have a friend helping...he works at a shop, so we have all the tools and a lift. this is a little more that "bolt on", but it is coming slowly but surely.

The indtuctions are pretty good. I have has some fairly limited experiance customer do it just fine.
If your smart enough to be asking, you smart enough to do it!

Jinxed.
the pads are so tight on the rotor that they wont turn.
i have to get new wheel spacers made.
First time, the learning curve is there. Still stuck on the fronts.

What MC are you using and did you replace it? The first time I did a whole Wilwood swap the MC was slightly engaged and caused the rotors to drag. Make sure the pushrod and clevis are adjusted properly.

on the fronts, if we use shims to center, they should be fine.
on the rears, the pads seem way too big. If I put them in the caliper they wont fit around the rotor.
Are the front and rear rotor supposed to be the same thickness?

Your kit probably has the 0.81" rotors front and back so yes, they should be the same. If the pads seem too thick, have you tried making sure the pistons are completely back? Remember, it doesn't take much.

they seem retracted as far as they can go. They are not even on the car, i was test fitting the pieces and i dont know how i am going to get them on.

I ran into this on my front rotors, which IIRC are 1.1" thick. Wilwood makes at least two different pad thicknesses, and the ones for the the .81 rotors have alot more material to them to make up for the thinner rotor. They will never fit. Somewhere on Wilwood's site there is chart of compounds and pad dimensions you'll need to familiarize yourself with as I did.
