Is DSE the only place to purchase Mini Tubs for a 69 Camaro? I did a quick search on here and didn't see anything. Most people seem to be making theirs. My body shop wanted to purchase the deep tubs.

I just thought $400 for a set was a bit much. Maybe not. But the
outers can be bought for about $85.

Before DSE we just added a section of material to the existing wheel house. That added 4 hours labor to the job. After labor and material $400 isn't too bad.

DSE is the only one making them and like Vince said, by the time you figure cost of widening a factory tub, DSE tubs become very reasonable unless you are capable of doing the work yourself.

How about some universal tubs from jegs? I thought about buying some of those and well not exactly tubbing the rear but adding more to the factory wells.

you could but it would be a waste, try a metal fabrication shop and ask for a 5" strip of 16ga mild and have then roll a 25" radius to it. Most shops will do it for real cheap. Total cost at my shop is $40

It all depends on what you want your finished product to look like. I've seen some really nasty mini-tub and full-tub HACK jobs. If you ever plan on selling your car, a hack job might lower the value of your build.

Also, if you are considering using racing tubs on the street...consider using steel instead of aluminum for durability.

These are what I went with in my fastback. I do not think you can beat them on price.
