I have a 68 camaro and have been amassing parts to convert to EFI via HSR and commander 950. I have all of the mechanicals now and the wide band O2. Biggest issue i have yet to figure out what i'm doing is i don't have a fuel pump and don't know what is the best thing to do for fuel lines. The car is a 350 that should make about 400 house power, i'm running the AFR 190s (machined to give 10 to 1 CR) with the HSR. I'd like to leave capacity in the fuel pump so if i stroked it to 383 to drop CR and then went with a turbo to put out about 600 HP i wouldn't necessarilly need to buy a new pump. Maybe that's unrealistic, please tell me. What pump and fuel line set-up would you guys recommend? Is there someone who makes a nice drop-in sending unit or is the best thing to go with an in-line? I'm not afraid to bend steel lines for fuel if that is the best, but would like something that is simple. From what i've seen online, bending steel lines may be simpler than ordering 50 different -6AN elbows, adapters, and fittings only to not have the 1 i need come final install. Living in Hawaii i don't have much in the way of local speed shop. Does anyone make a kit?
Thanks!

The spread sheet that came with your C950 has calcs for setting a size for your pump. Then you can punch those numbers into Summit or Jegs and see what comes up. Aeromotive, Holley, Walbro, etc., are all pretty decent pumps.

I found it to be simple to run a length of SS braided fuel line from tank to pump. You can bend it to eliminate all the fittings. Of course, you still need a few to make the end connections.

I went with the -8 inlet and -6 return stainless braided line with an Aeromotive A1000 (I think) pump, good to 1100 hp n/a or 800 forced induction, I believe. Haven't driven it yet, but I have heard others say they are good pumps, and pretty cheap at around $300.
