Has anyone had any success painting these outside of rattle cans?
What material are you using?
How did you prep them?

Epoxy prime first then top coat with color if desired.
If the part is new, wax an grease remover then scuff with red Scotch brite pad, if old surface rusted put in blast cabinet then follow paint instruction. after painted over grease it to make sure you get the media out of the joint.
