I got a lot of the parts such as brakes and suspension for the 66 but I can't put nice new shiny parts on the old greasy rusty frame. I know it will become a snowball when I start but I was tired of the car looking like a 4x4. Today I deciced to cut the springs. Ended up having to do it twice to get the exact ride height I want. First time took about 8 hours fighting 40 years of dirt, grease and rusty bolts. The final trim only took a couple of hours. I am very happy with the results. I will try to get some daylight pics later this week.

Looks really good. How is ride quality with that much spring cut?

Not bad at all. If I trim the bump stops a little you would not be able to tell.
