This is for all the cubiclly changed people out there...Who say's you can't have Big Block power out of a tiny 302. Ok maybe just a little higher on the rpm table.
Of course it had to be done on the hottest damn day of the year! I was still happy with the rear wheel numbers.

Is it a street car or track only? That's pretty awesome, but I sure wouldn't want to drive it on the street when the power curve doesn't even start until 4200. O_O

Yea its a bummer that Incon left the States...
All Street car...but I'm sure it will see the track at times.
4000rpm is where I stabed the throttle and started the pull. It was 75mph in 4th gear and ran to 160 at 8K.
The motor has more then enough torque between idle to 4000rpm. I have full boost by 2500. It's plenty to roast the hides off of the 335's at any time. The nice thing is that its very smooth and controllable with absolutly no turbo lag. Idles at 750rpm with 16" vac, very responsive and a blast to drive.
I built this motor for higher rpm horsepower just for that reason. I love the hard pull this thing does all the way to 7500rpm. Ya it dosen't pull 600+ft/lb off idle like a big block can, but without sticky tires to get it to the pavment, its pretty much useless anyway.

Very nice, I remember when you were posting pictures of your 3-link build! Good to see a project come together like this.
Steve, when are you going to feature Ron's car? Come on buddy, get with it :)

Impressive. Would of been neat to see the run from lower RPM. Damn turbo's are such a good way to make power.

It will most likely see dyno time again soon. I will play around with with the 10# wastegate springs for now and pop in the 15#ers I have later. At the time of this run, the motor only had 200 miles on it. I didn't want to get crazy with it right out the gate.
I will make sure the next run starts at a lower rpm.
The car is scheduled for a photo shoot with Popular Hot Rodding next month.

Ron! Come pick me up! It's time for another sideways run down the freeway. LOL! Congrats on the numbers.
Serious, lets hook up and shoot some video some time.

Hey Larry, I definitely would like to do a cool video and put it to some music. Do you do editing? Be like a Top Gear clip! Do we need an Englishman for commentary? LOL!
