Hey guys,
Does anyone know if roller rockers with poly locks will fit under the stock valve covers on a 96-99 Vortec 454? I actually have a 396 w/rollers and tall valve covers. I love the way they look but I have an interference issue with my power booster(c5 booster) and the upper plenum of the efi I want to run (96-99 Vortec 454). With these valve covers I would need a 1.25" spacer between the lower manifold and upper plenum. If I do the spacer what effect would it have? Negative or positive? I can make the booster work but look at the pics and you'll see how close the throttle body is.
If I go with the spacer idea is there anyone out there who want's to make them for me? How much $?

Thanks ,
Matt

Get a set of fabricated ally covers from ebay (about $100.00) and you should have enough room to cut out the shape of the throttle body and weld in a piece of 1/2 ally tube. Would look racy as well.

Thanks for the idea Adam. I'm gonna borrow a fabbed cover from a friend and see if that may work. And just so everyone else knows, stock 502 valve covers will NOT fit over poly-locks. You would need a 1/2" spacer.
