The car looks real nice. I like the different dash, is it modeled after an early vette? More pictures please

Cody-
Give us all a break. There is a big difference between being sarcastic, and being a *****. The first is followed by the use of smiles, the second is usually followed by your sig.
4130guy- Welcome to the board. Looks like a nice project, how about some details on it?

I'll bet that thing is stunning in the sunlight. Is it Tangergine HOK or Sunset HOK or something else? I like the dash. Definitely different.

Sorry about the delay in response guys – Fabrication was done by Dennis MacPherson of www.dmcracing.com (http://www.dmcracing.com/) Body and Paint was done by Peter of www.competition-specialties.com (http://www.competition-specialties.com/) car will be displayed in the World Of Wheels show tonight at Bayside Exposition Center – Boston Ma –
It has been a long process between the two shops and the help of many different people – A lot of long nights and endless days of work has gone into this car -.That is why I posted the car here - I have seen you guys build cars over time and the cars have turned out to be just full of detail and most of all designed to be driven.
I will post pictures from the show over the weekend as well as more details of paint – dash – suspension – motor – etc.
-THANK YOU- for the responses to the post.

Chris,
Sorry to sidetrack things there.
When you get time, tell us about the dash! What it came out of or was fashioned after? The more pictures you post, the better the car looks! I hope you do well at the show this weekend.

thank you. its a Intro Matrix 22x10, mesures 22x11 lip to lip. its stock wheel wheels, and factory suspention with air-ride. i had to do alot of trimming. but it almost lays flat with that 22 in the wheel well. thanks for the complements though. i really like your car.

Are you putting disc brakes on that Chevelle with those huge wheels?

Are you putting disc brakes on that Chevelle with those huge wheels?
of course i am, just never had a rim big enough to clear the brakes. the roller rims were 15s and my brakes wouldn't clear those so i had to wait for the rims to come before i could put the brakes on. sorry to hijack your thread though 4130guy
