pretty big news if you ask me. forget about the racing, this move (and expected Nextel race wins) will start a change of mindset among the NASCAR crowd and where they spend their $$$ for a future automobiles.
EDIT: not all at once of course. it's kaizen. it'll be slow, long-term progression for add'l sales. (jmho)

I wish JGR wouldn't have made the move, however, the quotes in that article leave hints that GM wasn't giving him certain things he wanted. I'm sure there's some info there that we aren't hearing. Too bad.

Oh, and I think Stewart is a punk-ass. :) (and I'm not even a turn-left fan!)

yeah well its all about being top dog in the manufactuer i think and being that hendrick is tops in chevy they wanted all resorces they can get and toyota will give it to them..not sure if you ever heard but when toyota trucks came in and started to dominate they said the engines were superior and when they wanted in cup france said fine but you cant use the truck engine..and so after this season the trucks will have to use the engine they came up with for cup..at least that is what i read and heard also on wind tunnel..doesnt really matter to me all nascar is getting to big for itself anyhow..
