hi all,
i need some tips about the QA1 coil over kits.
for the moment i drive in my 1979 El-Camino, 350cui, 330rwhp, with Hotchkis springs front and rear, and koni shocks in front and rear. the shocks are now 6 year old and its time to replace. now comes my questions. the qa1 coil overs are good for a strong and curvy country ? i need a suspension for highspeed curves. and qa1 offers different spring rates, is t5his kit the right one for the front end ?

for the rear axle i will buy two new konis

I like the Hotchkis springs with either QA1 or Vari adjustable Shocks factory style replacments.

The QA1 kit your looking at has 350LB springs, maybe a bit on the soft side if it is a A/C car and intended for handling

Personally I'm not a fan of Koni or QA1... I would find out the the spring rates are from Hotchkis and order some custom valved Bilstiens
Our good buddies at SC&C do have some very effective packages for that chassis
