thanks everyone!! there are no muffllers on the car its straight headers right now i love that sound and really dont want to put mufflers on but there is no way i could drive it around town with out getting pulled over like it is. iam going to prolly put the flowmaster single chambers on it.

theres just that 'thing' about how a healthy small block sounds that ANYTHING else just pales by comparison. if some of these kids w/ their turbo hondas would listen to that, maybe they would see the light. in my mind (and ears) NOTHING compares to a small block through flowmasters.

my feelings exactly, unless maybe you are talking about a big block but the principle stands

The GM 847 cam is one of the biggest cam you can use on a LT-1 motor.:naughty:

Sounds and looks great, I still have a soft spot for LT1's. Great motors that don't recieve enough love. Is the rest of the motor built? Ported heads or anything?

hey
thanks i like the lt1 motors i wanted a ls1 but i got this motor for a good price($100 with everything) and it had very low miles on it so i had to go with it. yes the heads are done i dont know if you have heard of loyd elliot but he did the heads he is one of the best guys out there for lt1 motors (he also dose ls1's) the heads consist of Ferrea 200/1.56 Valves
CM Retainers & 10° Locks
Comp Bee Hive Spring
205 CC Intake porting
Milling. Cleaning, Assembly
Flow about 275/190
the bottom-end is stock i want to build a 383or 396 short block after i get out of school and then transfer everything over but still the motor now should make 420rwhp so its like 490-500 and the flywheel?
check out his site www.eportworks.com (http://www.eportworks.com)

Yes I have heard of LE heads, I have a local buddy running these heads and I think that same cam. He converted to individual coils as well and is running 420rwhp on his stock bottom end '95 TA. Sounds good man, keep us posted, I really like your car.
