I happened to come across your post while I was goofing around on the Internet over the weekend. I have owned the car since 1985 and build the car in 1992. In that time it caught on fire and was stolen. Since then car has been evolving over the years into a g-machine. The entire car was build and painted in the driveway without a garage. Since it was featured in PHR's Hometown Hot Rodding I replace the ram air hood with a 5” cowl hood that I found locally. I’m not sure if I like it, but I could not pass up the deal. At the end of the summer I plan on tearing apart and do a frame-up restoration. I plan on keeping the car basically the same, maybe change to a T/A hood and change the color. The car is still in good shape but the paint is faded, so it should not take long to restore. Thanks for your interest.
