This may be a little long but I want toget all the details in.
I've been running the Hydratech Hydroboost in my car for about two years without a problem. During all the work I did this past winter I disassembled everything to facillitate the new hyd clutch MC and cleaning/painting the firewall. One thing that I did was disassemble the brake MC and had the body powder coated. Everything is back together and working, or so it seemed.
I've been driving the car around town for the past week or so just checking everything out. It's been good until tonight when I tok a longer ride with the car. I took a quick 30 mile trip and whn I got to my destination my brakes would not release. It's as if the pedal is not returning all the way, my brake lights stayed on and it was difficult to get the car to move.
On the return home I noticed that the brakes were fine until I got to my exit. Then once I started appying the brakes they started to drag getting progressivly worse with each application until I got home and I noticed my brake lights staying on unless I slid my toe under the pedal and lifted up on it. Once home I jacked the car up and found that I could not rotate any wheel by hand.
So my questions are,
Is it more likely that the problem is in MC and not the Hydro?
Could the problem be heat induced, as the engine bay warms up from operating could it affect the MC.
I suspect the MC more because I feel there is a higher probability of a problem with it since it was disassembled, and then reassembled after powdercoating.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
