Im doing C5 brakes on my 94 S-10, what brake pads is everyone running? I have stock C5 rotors right now, but i plan to upgrade some day.

I would like to find something with low dust, im going to be running Bonspeeds.

I was looking at the Hawk HP pads.

Thanks.

I run Hawk HPS; greatly improved braking from stock, they stand up to some track use too, but they do still make some dust. HP pads might make a bit lest dust, or I think they are marketting a ceramic pad with low dust too.

I use HPS pads.

I've only got about 100 miles on them, but I'm pleased so far. Not much dust.... yet.

If dust is the primary concern over performance, I'd stick with a Ceramic pad. Not only do they dust less, but the dust that they do create tends to be much lighter in color and less noticeable. I haven't heard much about Hawk's Ceramic line, but most of there stuff is well respected and a pretty safe bet. I would like to try out some of Satisfied's GS performance pads...but I believe they also offer a "Pro-Ceramic" carried by the CSK Auto Parts stores that is supposed to be equivalent to the Hawk Ceramic pads. Well, to be honest they say they're superior with a higher and more linear friction coefficient through the functional temperature range, but what friction company doesn't say that about their stuff?

Raybestos, AC Delco, Akebono, etc will all get the job done as OE replacement pads, but are a bit boring if you're used to something more agressive.
