Before anything, we need to get one thing straight! There is no such thing as "Too Low"! :naughty: :bananna2: :fingersx:
I like the size! What are they 18's?

Yeah I agree. There is no too low! Those wheels are 19's. That was with a 8 1/4 inch ride height. I might even go to 7 inches!

My opinion I would raise it up just a tad and install some taller tires. But thats just me. Anyways great looking car!

You'll want to go as low as you can ... but watch your ground clearance. Anything less than 4.5" will be no fun on the street.
I think the biggest wheel one should ever run is 18", but I do like the wheel style.

Brad,
It looks, from the pics you posted, like you don't have the suspension set up yet. If not you can go, as JP said, as low as 4.5" but maybe for you 6" would be a good ride height. Since your suspension isn't in yet you can dictate what ride height you want. I think it would look super cool with those wheels and a nice low ride height!

i agree about the tire, that was a 30 series tire, i am almost positive that i will go with a 40 series. As for ride height, i was thinking 6 inches but with a 3" exhaust that would only give me 3" clearance from the pipes to the road, am I right?
and for the front wheels, they will be 18 x 8's or 9's. That was just a mock up. Im going to order the fikse profile 5s.
thanks for the input!

Depends on how you route your exhuast!
Try and tuck it as much as you can and get the car as low as you can! Trust me when I say you will thank me and JP when you nail the apex!:headbang:

I think the wheels are too small for the wheel wells.. Or you need a bigger tire..
Just my opinion..

i got a question for ya.
are your replacement quarters GM or reproduction ?
if reproductions, how was the fit and finish of them?

The quarter panel is a Goodmark full quarter and as far as the fit. Its as good as it gets! Of course you have to work with them a little but I have used some piss poor aftermarket stuff and the Goodmark is top notch!
