I've been tooting my horn about this for several years now and NOW I have the proof. Thank you to CNW Marketing for conducting this focus group.

Further proof were Geo Prizm resale values vs. Toyota Corolla in the late 90's to whenever they quit the Prizm. Same car, different badge, proof positive.
Sad that the buying public is not smarter.

My favorite little addition to this is various conversations I've had over the past 10-20 years with friends, family, and neighbors. They tell me that domestic automakers latest offerings are much improved and are "now" just as good as Japanese or European cars. Have the same conversation 5 years later, and the same thing comes up.
It's like a time warp. Domestic cars recently became as good as foreign cars, but 5 years ago weren't as good. That was true 5 years ago too. And 5 years before that.
Perception is a funny thing.

Do "our" chevys come with a big or smallblock ?? Take a look at all the nice chevys in Denmark. Nothing like a genuine american car...
