Talked to the wheel and tire guy at summit and he said these tires are fairly poor for traction. Most likely a 0 improvemnet for me. I looked at them on display and they are very hard. I was hopeing they where the same compound as the classic sportsmans.

With a stiff sidewall and new tread design, the S/R is not the greatest choice for straight line accelleration. For corners they may be decent though. ET Streets or BFG drag radials would be better choice for straight line stuff with street capability. General consensus from guys who have used both is the ET Streets are a drag tire with a d.o.t. rating and BFGs are street tires that have decent bite at the track.

There nice to drive on, no straight line there not great, althou I have made passes on them. And with the motor combo I had spun them alot.

IM having trouble finding a drag radial in a size I can use on 18x8 wheels and still be as wide or wideer than my 245/40 fronts.
