I think the only difference is the material its made out of but want to check. My teflon hose uses a steel fitting so I'd like to use the steel one.

The first two are not the same parts on the Summit website. One is a steering box inverted flare to AN adapter, the second an AN reducer. I think they may have the pictures mis-matched.

You do not want an aluminum part for the steering lines. Use the Aeroquip steel parts that are specifically designed for this conversion on page 26 / high pressure fittings. You will need one 5/8" and one 11/16" for the early GM box. If it's a fuel line either steel or aluminum will work fine.

Thanks Carl, yeah - I stopped relying on summit pictures and even descriptions of parts. In aeroquip's book, the parts look the same along with the description. These are for fuel lines, someone told me that it would be prudent to keep the materials similar (steel on steel fittings vs steel on aluminum) so thats what I'm trying to do.
