I'm usually a do it yourself kinda guy. I've done most of the work on my Camaro so far including new engine, tranny, suspension, rear-end, seats). But due to lack of time and energy, (8 month old baby, 3 kids playing travel sports, work etc), I haven't been able to get to some things that I've wanted to. So, I finally bit the bullet and decided to have someone else do some work for a change. After much research on this forum and others, I decided to send my car down to Pete at Competition Specialties. I really only needed a few small things done. troubleshoot an ignition problem, trace and fix an annoying oil leak, install new gauges in the dash, install corbeau harnesses and seatbelts, install new hood insulation, install new door pins, install momo steering wheel and wire horn as well as fix a short in my wiper motor. I wanted to give some positive feed back on these guys at comp spec. They did a wonderful job at a very reasonable price. Here are a few pics of the work. They actually had to pull the top-end off the motor to get at the oil leak coming from an oil galley plug under the drivers side head. I highly recommend these guys. Oh, I also got a tour of their shop and they have some really cool projects that they are working on.
