Possibly a stupid/noob question here but what is the reason for the channel over the axle between the tubs in this pic?

Very nice car so far BTW.

I think this channel has the shocks/coilovers brackets welded in.

Thanks guys, I'm really excited about getting done now!

James, a place called Prewitt Racing did the mini-tubb and shock brace.

Carbuff, Rodney@Austin's Collision did/doing the body&paint. He is the same guy that did my '73 T/A.

Colt, for now, I'm putting in a 450hp 383 stroker and a T56(thanks Tito). It has a DSE narrowed 9" and Baer Brakes all around. Full DSE suspension all around, coilovers/tubular arms up front, 3" drop springs rear.

Stokes, they are Fikse FM5 18X8.5f 18x12.5 rear. 245'sfront 335's rear.

I really hope to have it all together by the end of the month. I plan on working on it every day for atleast 4-5 hours a day...

I think I heard someone mention that Rodney (Austin's Collision) recently purchased a 69 camaro.
If that’s true, hopefully he will go the PT route with it.

Well guys, I have been really busy at work and racing and have not been working on the car. I finally started back on it and now it's getting closer. I've done all I can do so far, so I dropped it off today at a friends house, a fellow '69 owner, to do the wiring. After he is done, I will be able to finish it pretty fast..

IMO,the Modena and Enzo are the best looking Ferraris to ever be built.

That Modena is absolutely beautiful. Who makes the wheels?

Streetking
04-11-2005, 12:55 PM
Clint, please come by anytime your intown...

Ralph, believe it or not they are CCW's. I called John up one night at home and asked him if he could build me a set for the 360, I took some measurements, he built them in 4 days! No rubbing or fitment issues. This was the first set of wheels he ever built for a Ferrari. I did send him the center cap so he could machine it to fit.. He just built me a set of 6 spokes for my blue Viper, I just got them friday..

SW,

I had a hunch they were CCW's, but wasn't sure, and the center cap threw me off. They look great as do the 6 spokes on the viper!! I was also wondering when someone was going to run a 355/19. I remember when that size came out last year. Got any low rear view pics looking up at the car to see those massive tires? The view must be awesome.

SW, I am truly envious. Did the Modena replace the Vanquish? I don't see it in the long list of killer cars you have. The CCW wheels on the Modena are awesome. It make me glad I picked CCW's for my '68. My brother lives in Georgetown, maybe I could stop by and visit when I am in the area? I will make sure to bring my bib.

Hey SW, nice garage there. Your Camaro is coming along pretty good. Can't wait to see it done. I always liked black, looks killer, tough to maintain.

Love the Ferraris and Vipers, you know how to choose the right wheels & stance for your cars.

I did like your 550 Maranello, I've never seen one look so good with those wheels you had on it.

Any plans for an Enzo or Carrara GT? I've seen the Enzo in Person at the Ferrari factory in Italy, and have seen a Carrera locally driving on the street!
