Hello.
Finally got around to signing up.
Currently don't have a street legal car but, contemplating returning my race car to the street. It's a '57 Ford Custom sedan that I have been running in NHRA S/ST and S/G. Failing that I also have a recent "barn find" '57, same model that may work or then there's the '49 sedan that is being set up for shall we say, spirited driving.
Cheers'
Michael

Welcome to the site, Michael. A pro-touring '49 Sedan--sounds cool!

Thanks for the warm welcome.
The '49 is coming along albeit slowly, much to my wifes chagrin.
Working on three projects is a little draining.
So far it has a Fatmans clip,tubular a-arms,coilovers,T-Bird rack.Out back is the ubiquitous 9'' w/3.70's on a narrowed chassis and a triangulated 4 bar.ARE 17" Saltflat specials 235/45 front 255/45 rear.
Power supplied by a 347ci sbf and three deuces.I was going efi but I had the (nos 60's Ford) tri-power and it seemed to fit the idea of the car. What a rumrunner might have had back in the day only with a few modern goodies. An Aod stuffed full of lentech parts ties the drivetrain together.Yes a 5spd would've been more fun (and less expensive!) but I used what I had on hand.
Cheers,
Michael.
