What has happened to these shows? Are they not running yet? - or - Didn't the shows get their contracts renewed?

Overhaulin has been canceled. However I have it from a very qualified source (Mr Foose himself) that the show will come back soon. Michael has been invited to be on one of the first shows, but we have not heard anything yet. If we hear something we will let you know.

If they bring back Overhaulin w/o the pranks/skits I'll watch, but I grew weary of that aspect of the show to a great enough degree that I quit watching it.
Wrecks to riches.....didn't do anything for me from the git-go.

Overhaulin is already filming again. They just finished a mustang last week and are starting a new car next week. They work a week on and a week off.

You might be thinking of "Rides" Frank. I think they cancelled that show because it's been forever and a day since I last saw it on. Even repeats.

No, Overhaulin was canceled, but it is back on again. I think there is new "management"

I remember at Goodguys, Foose saying that Overhaulin' was back and that they would be doing cars from all over the U.S., going to pick them up, bringing them back to cali to do them and then back to the person.

Overhaulin' is filming as we speak, halfway into car #2 of the new season. Another tidbit you guys might like: THe pranks are gone....mostly. They do a quick prank when picking up the car at the beginning, and that's it. Rest of the show is all build, build, build.
Keep it on the DVR guys, it's lookin to be a good format change.

Oh they're not going to get rid of A.J....she's Bud Brutsman's wife (the executive producer of Overhaulin'). That's how she got the job. In fact, some people think this is why Courtney Hansen left the show.
I'm sure they'll find a job for her with this new format.

aj was brutsmans wife, well if that doesnt explain a bunch. aj was nice to look at but courtney was a goddess, i loved watching her get dirty. it may have been fake, but she grew up in a garage with her dad so she could at least fake it well. i agree with the celeb bs, those jayholes have enough money to have there junk built, save it for the deserving real world guy, that hasnt got anything. just my .02 Dan

I am not so sure Brutsman is involved anymore. AJ did not show up at the Poker Tourney, so I wonder............

In addition to having the money to get the cars built, they also have the money to pay the tax bill when the 1099 shows up at tax time. Unfortunately, the "deserving real world guy, that hasn't got anything" does not. And that's why you see these cars on ebay before the paint cures.

Anything with cool cars is better than Gilmore girls and Dora.

There's been a few. The ones I seem to remember the most were a real flamed c1500, a '70 Mustang fastback that was sort of a green color, and that douchebag & his wife's '05 Mustang. There's probably been others

Well, if they stuff $30,000 in parts into the car then they it's treated like they made $30,000 in income.
Not sure how they do the paint and labor...
One one home refurb show they have a sneaky way around it (I heard).. something like they buy the house, do the remodel then sell the house back to the people.
Couldn't Overhauling buy the car from the people for $10k.. do the makeover and then sell it back to them for $10k?

I've seen 3 of them. The explorer, the mustang from sema before last, and a chevelle they did.
