Well after having my Classic Chevy Tremec kit sitting on my shelf for WAY too long I have finally begun the install.

I ordered the complete TKO600 kit from Jeff for a 69 Camaro. I'm doing auto to manual swap.

I have the clutch, flywheel etc.. installed and I'm at the point of having to adjust the clutch fork. The kit came with an adjustable Mcleod T/O bearing. Out of the box it is in it's longest configuration. I put it in as is. To get to what looks like the right adjustment on the clutch fork angle, I have the ball stud adjusted so that close to all of the thread is sticking out of the back of the bell. Before I go and cut the "extra" thread off, I'm wondering if I should remove T/O bearing and remove the rings to make it shorter.

Anyone have experience with adjustable T/O bearings on a Tremec swap?

I also have to cut a hole in the tunnel for the shifter. Any tips or tricks? I am thinking of using a 4" hole saw for a clean cut.

TIA for any advice or info.!

I used a 4" hole saw for my tunnel hole. It worked perfectly. Just measure twice, and watch the speed of the cut. Some lube will help too to keep the drill from snagging and whipping the drill out of your hands.

John thx for the reply!

PHR copy with II Much on the cover is now my favorite mag.

It sits within arms reach of my favorite reading area. It replaces PHR mag with Vizard's camshaft article.

You did a spectacular job on II Much! It was a blast following the build.
