So I got my ESOP money and spent some when I was gonna do something else with it.
I bought several new tools, one for the engine builders, a new Snap-on Techwrench torque wrench. It does from 60 -1200 in lbs, 5 to 100 ft lbs AND it does torque angle too.
Only $405 bucks.
als found a new harmonic balancer/installer and needed it at same time as torque wrench (bought both for the then current job at work.
Oh yeah I am a diag tech at my place of work. David Carmichael Truck and Auto.
BUT the neat thing I picked up used is a Snap-On CT3850 18V cordless 1/2in impact, its used but the dealer had the batteries rebuilt at an Interstate dealer. it works awesome, everyone needs one and this isnt even the latest and greatest model.
$40k-$50k in tools and still buying,,, one of the perks of being a mechanic.
Oh yeah first new tool I got was a Arc One auto change welding helmet,,, ONLY $79.99, and it has no batteries like the cheaper one from Clarke,,, but I do believe it works better.
anyone else use their work/hobbie/household chores to buy POWERTOOLS?
But the new/used impact ought to make the car comeaprt and go together much faster since I have no garage nor air compressor.
Ok fun notice over.
