Hi all,

My name is Kyle and I joined this website long ago when I was more active with my 69 Camaro.
What I have here is a 69 Camaro with a 95 firehawk Lt1 installed intertwind with my old wire harness. We ordered a new wire harness needed to support the Lt1. I did not install the electric work but I did mess with it after the installation. Thats alittle background.
Question: My back tail/fog/sidelights when out and I am pretty sure it has to do with the age of the car. Should I just take it to a repair/electrical car shop for repairs? any suggestions?
Another question. My door handles never worked correctly as far as locking it goes. Can anyone suggest a great website to by this from?

Check the fuse. Then check grounds. Check the switch next for power in and power out. Then, if you don't know how to hunt down a short, go to an electrical guy.

You owe it to yourself to at least try to fix it yourself. As for the handles, they really dont have much to do with your doors locking. you may have a linkage issue or a bad lock cylinder. I would take off the door panel and check it out before ordering anything. If you do need to order something I would go with Ricks First Gen (http://www.firstgen.com/)or Classic Industries (http://www.classicindustries.com/).
