Guys-
A local company out of Caesar's Palace called Exotic Cars just sold one of the unique Performance GT500 E clones to a guy in Ireland. The car had no wipers, linkage, motor or switch for the windshield wipers at all, and we now have 3 days to track down the needed items to make it happen.
Do you guys in the mustang world know of a compnay that will have all the items we need to retro-fit an entire system into this car? So far the restoration houses we have called don't have the linkage, switch or wiring for it and we might need to look for a universal kit.
Any pointers or links will help a bunch- keep in mind we are GM camaro guys and have never worked on a Ford- ever.

Try Jason Mountz. He has a huge wrecking yard of mustangs in Florida and will surely know, and have, all the related parts.

As far as a switch, they do offer a kit that has an updated delay wipe and it uses the stock bezel and knob. Cheaper than a NOS switch, Just the thing for a $250k car. This kit is actually for 65-66 car but since it has a custom dash it should not be hard to blend in. call 1-800 999-4289 and ask for pn#12172
The NOS aren't too expensive but very hard to find.

If you can't hunt down the orig linkage there is a universal street rod style kit that works fairly well. It is runn of a cabel system.
www.SPECIALTYPOWERWINDOWS.COM (http://www.SPECIALTYPOWERWINDOWS.COM). They are sold under different names and I am sure you can find a distributor out West that can have it to you in a day.

Come on, you don't think I went down that avenue first? The linkage, motor, and switch are not in reproduction by any Mustang supplier that I called.
I did find a local guy who is rolling deep in OEM Mustang parts of all years- He runs Mustang and Cougar Salvage, his name is Ralph and he can be reached at 1-702-646-8767 for those who need stuff.
