Anyone going to this? I'm thinking about packing up the Z and the wife & heading down. While I've been to OC before, I've never been down for any of the car events. Any recommendations on where to stay (i.e. car friendly places, off street parking, covered parking, etc.)?

all i can say is start getting reservations now!! it fills up fast. it is fun but very crowded. I will be down there.

I'll be there. Hooters is the place to be every night. It's like the main hub of the show. Make your reservations NOW!

I was down for the spring event, got some cool pictures and some good ideas for my car. I will try to make the fall run, but I live close enough to make a day trip. Belair will not, though. I have the whole front end dissasembled to the frame. The kids had fun, too. It's a zoo!

I just bought a place over in Ocean Pines. Perfect timing. I was there last year. I couldn't believe how many Hod Rods were there.
Not as many PT cars as I would like. More Pro Street stuff. Still very cool.

We went to the Spring show and had a great time. Not sure if we will make the Fall show. Stayed at some new condos called Sunset Island on 67th street. A great place.... 3br/2bath with deck - brand new this year. Bonus is undercover garage parking...

Scroll down for Sunset Island Condos and search on a date... $700-900 a week. Still plenty of places available. Fall is not nearly as crowded as the spring show. Actually the Fall show is better in it's not as crazy. Weather always sucks though - Spring and Fall for some reason....

For a great time seeing others wail on their cars go to Bellybusters around 45th street ocean side. It's an outdoor bar right on the road at a stop light. See the "fools' dumping it off at the light.

Also highly recommend Hooters at night. Very nice cars there....

I'm leaving on sept 29th. we have a blast in the fall.. Remeber the cops and are always bad..
