Im at my wits end. I damn near hurled one of my tail pipes in to the street. Its a 67 camaro, mini tubbed with dse shackles and 3" drop leafs. I just cant get the tails to fit nice over the axle and around the tank. Its a complete Stainless Works 3" system and certainly not there fault, just kind of tight back there now. Ive cut this beautiful 304 pipe a ton of times trying to change the geometry but it continues to rattle against the trunk floor and framerail and gets close to the tire.

Does anyone know a pipe bender that can custom bend in the north east section of New Jersey or even NY- orange/rockland county.

Thanks Rich

hard mount the tailpipes, do not use rubber, however use an isolater at the mufflers and you will be fine, but you need to remove isolaters from tailpipe mounts to even have a chance at no rattles. i did this on a quadralink with stock gas tank and i had to hard mount tailpipes

Can you elaborate on the isolator at the muffler, what does it look like? I already have a hanger at the exit of the muff and it has rubber rivited into it, is this what you mean when you refer to isolator?

Thanks Rich

yes that is what i mean, now just use 3/8 rod and bend hard mounts and weld to frame and tailpipe, there will be no resonance or any noises and you will be happy.

also dimpling the tailpipe alittle will affect nothing, so if its close like 1/8th from something put a 1/4 inch dimple in it if needed
