for what it's worth, I've bought a set of rotors from sportbrakes.com on ebay - both for my vette and for the camaro - the vette ones have been beat the crap out of at Lime Rock and no cracks- even though they are cross drilled, and they are not cryo treated. There c4 rotors are actually Brembo's. The c5 ones look the same but didn't come in brembo boxes.

Chryogenic tempering has been used in aerospace, aircraft industry, and several racing venues.
By taking the molecular activity down to zero and controling the warming process, realigns the molecular structure AND stress releaves the materials atomic structure.
Cryo tempering,,,goood.
