Im stuck. I recently got me a running project 70 cuda after years of looking for one. I ran into a young guy (18) that says he'll trade my cuda for his 59 impala vert (also a project) but he wants a couple of days to think about it cause it was a gift from an uncle. His buddy also wants to trade me either a 68 mustang fastback or a 69 camaro for my cuda if I dont trade it for the impala. I am really considering the impala even though its a bigger project than my cuda. Give me some opinions guys.

Keep the Cuda. Although a 59 Impala Convertible is tempting.

keep it...you can always buy an Imp, Camaro or 68 Fastback.

I was thinking the same. I see a lot of camaros and fastbacks but that 59 is killing me. It has no engine or trans and rust thats the bad thing and it took me forever to get a cuda. YOu dont see to many cudas here. Im just worried if I did trade Ill kick myself for it later. I have a feeling he is not going to trade though. He had to check with his parents so we'll see. Keep putting in you 2 cents guys. thanks

keep the cuda. my first love was a 59 Imp but I come from a Mopar family and that's what I have just always had. I got a 70 'cuda from my dad and have been puttin work in and there is no Impala I would trade for ('cept an original 409, but that'll never be happenin).

Keep the Cuda! Of course, I'd be willing to take it off your hands for next to nothing.

keep the cuda, like you said you have been looking for one for a few years. So you obviously really want a cuda.

For the other side - man a 59 Impala is my dream car for a cruiser. Those fins are so sexy.
But 'Cudas are hot right now. Probably can't go wrong either way.
I'm a Ford guy so I dig the 68 FB but it's 3rd in line to those other two.
BTW: a friend found a barn car up in Michigan last year. 1964 Impala with a 409 and 4spd. Fired up after 5 minutes and he drove it home. 10K and all it needed was a good cleaning to be a nice driver.

I would keep both cars and sell the dog. That's what I would do.
