Saw it on the shelf at Barnes & Noble book store......some great reading about car control advanced driving and club level racing. The publishers website does not list it as a title so either it's a one-shot or an exploratory trial effort. So everyone buy a copy and hope lots of advertisers sign up if you want to see it again.
An orange 997 GT3 RS on the cover, and it comes with a DVD featuring Randy Pobst. Pretty good discussion of basic car prep, driving techniques, etc for track newbies. It's about $10, but worth picking it up.
nice. I'll look into it when I get done with the dumbasses guide to dreamweaver 8

I had to go and pick up this mag after reading about it here.. Man this thing is awesome. I for once am interested in what this guy has to say. It's not backed by a billion sponsers throwing parts at stuff to make it go faster. Just down to the basics of driving. Love It!!

Hi guys: Thanks for supporting the magazine! And thanks for all the words of support. If anyone is having trouble finding the magazine, please email me at
[email protected], and I will try to steer you to the right locations. Or, in dire emergencies, send out a few mags myself. ;-) ... More about the magazine can be found here: www.high-performance-driving.com
(FWIW, I am based in northern california, and my "home tracks" are Sears Point, Thunderhill Raceway and Laguna Seca... We have quite an active tracking/racing scene up here, with everything from little modern sports cars to fully tuned out muscle cars turning laps... Yep, I drive a little Elise, but my first car ever was a 68 Camaro. :-))
Thanks again...
