Well after a very long wait, my new rear shoes finally showed up!!!
18 x 10 Bonspeed Huntington w/ brushed and clear coated centers.
Toyo Proxes T1R's for rubber all around.
The fronts are 18x 8.
A big thank you goes out to Frank and GP Superstore for getting me a great deal and "hanging" with during what turned into one heck of an ordeal.
Now for a little height adjustment!!

Thanks again Frank, I now think it was worth the wait.

They look awesome!

Just need to drop your Firebird 1"-2" or so front and back and
it should be sitting about just right!

Nice wheel choice..:twothumbs

The offsets seems conservative and could use deeper lips in rear but they are fine for me!!

Wide track hombre. The Pontiacs were a bit wider in the rear for some marketing magic.

That car looks great. Someone photochop it quick so we can see it a couple of inches lower.

I have been measuring to decide on 2" or 3" DSE drop leafs.
Don't want to go lower then the front, I dig the "raked" look. And the front has Hotchkis 2" drop springs already.
Figured I'd go with 2" and could always run a block to go lower, But with 3", I can't go up to easy???

The front rims I bought here from a member and didn't have a choice on the backspacing, they are 4.875 on an 18 x 8, and fit perfectly, like he said. The tires are 245/40/18s.

The rear, Frank and I went with 6.25 backspacing on a 18 x 10. After measuring my stock rear, we determined it was and 1" wider then the Camaro. And man is the Backspacing dead on!!
Tires are 275/40/18s.

I now know that the tire sizes I went with are conserative to say the least. I think I could have went with 255's or so up front and 285's in the back.
Heck I even added a 1/4 spacer I had in the toolbox just to see the difference, I could run those if I end up with a contact issue.

That would be awesome.
I tried those wheel "simulator" or whatever you call it while I waited, but the color wasn't right and it was hard to "see" it.

Calling DSE today, so in a week or two, I'll have the real thing!!!!

That would be the least I could say.
Frank not only answered all my questions, he made calls on my behalf and returned my calls when he said he would, and offered to do whatever he could.

Those kinds of things I think are getting harder and harder to expect from people now a days.
Some times you're lucky to get a high quality part.

In the end these are nice bling!! LOL

those look real nice man. Good choice on wheels. I was thinking of getting those and having the centers painted black.

Those are great.
Bolted right in place, no wrestling with them.
Included all the hardware, work good, feel like OEM!!!

Looks good. I agree lower. 2 front, 3 back maybe. Also you're going to want some bigger brakes... does it ever end? *lol*

For me, no it never ends, there's always something else to do or change.
My wife on the other hands, some times needs "convincing"!! lol
