Hi all - new to the forum. I live in Wisconsin. I have a '72 Nova that I have owned for almost 15 years. It is currently being disassembled for some "upgrades." I have a Hotrods to Hell truck arm suspension set up for the rear ready to install. In the front I have the HTH lowers with adjustable SBC uppers and the taller Fatman Fabrication 2" drop spindles. It currently has a 355 with Trick Flow heads, a Comp roller cam and the Edlebrock MPFI set up and a Richmond 5 speed.

I have a 6 liter truck block in the garage and I am looking for a T56 but that conversion will probably be next year's project.

I will get some batteries for the camera and see if I can get some in the current state. My old computer's power source died and I haven't had the time to pull the memory and transfer it to the new computer yet.

I will try and have some posted later today.

Here are some quick shots I grabbed. You will have to excuse the quality as the good camera is with the girlfriend. This one is old and less that 2 MP.

Thats a sick project you got there. My bro and I both have 72 novas as well. Mine is in the new Hot Rod magazine readers rides and my bros is in the new Super Chevy readers rides. So what are your long term plans for yours??

Long term plans are to have a car that is as reliable as my '04 GTO with better handling, more power and the classic looks of a Gen 2 Nova. I am also upgrading the brakes and steering while it is apart. It will be getting a mini-tub and should end up with something in the neighborhood of 315's in the rear. I would like to have the new motor in by next June for the Power Tour but if not it will at least have the rest done by then. The Power Tour ends here in Madison so it will be nice to swing the whole tour and end up close to home.

My brother has a '77 2 door Impala that is slammed. It is getting a T56 and a decent 350. We hope to have both of them done for next June.

Long term it will get the body work done. It is an original Wisconsin car and therefore suffers from the salt induced rust. While it hasn't seen a winter since I have owned it, the age is starting to show. That being said, my future father-in-law owns a body shop with his son. They do great work and because I am into cars I actually get along with them well. At some point the car will spend a winter up there but that will probably be a few years.

I have an old 68 chevy pickup, and though about the rear suspension for my 62 belair. Will this handle better than the stock 3 arms?

Thanks for the inspiration

Josh
The lower arms are from Hotrods to Hell. They are SOLID. The upper arms are SPC adjustable arms I got through Savitske Classic & Custom (www.scandc.com). The spindles (not pictured) are from Fatman Fabrications. They are 1 inch taller than factory and are a 2 inch drop.

Rob,
I will let you know. I have it torn apart but will probably drop the entire front sub and replace all the bushings while it is apart. It will be end of summer probably.
