I am finally getting around to putting my crate motor (pre 86 350) in my Regal and I want to find a inexpensive but nice looking way to do a serpentine belt conversion on it. I have a high output large case alternator I have to factor into it as well.

Idea's or suggestions ?

I would like to go with a electric water pump if I can...

Plan on running a carb, will be running AC but not right now.

Would like to have the Alt on the passenger side, but it doesn't have to be...........

Kinda new to alot of this stuff :)

I got mine from a 91 S10 4.3L. Check your salvage yard for S10's w/ 4.3s and trucks with 350s.

The truck brackets might set up too high, depending on the hoodline. You could get a serpentine setup off an '88-'92 V8 F-body or Caprice which works just peachy. If you check out my site - www.bowtiepower.com - you'll see what they look like in a G-body. I pilfered a set of brackets off an '89 GTA. Just make sure your cylinder heads have 3 accessory bolt holes. Some of the early heads (like pre-'76 or something) have only 2 bolt holes, and then you'll need to drill/tap the head for the 3rd mounting bolt.
