Hello all.
I've been cruising the site looking for as much info as possible and seen some wild and crazy rides. What i'm looking for is some sort of custom console ( preferably premade - i have no building skills at all ) or easy to fit Gen 4 camaro swap.
I don't know what's all involved with the swap from the 4th gen but it sounds interesting. I have an automatic but i'm looking to use a better shifter or maybe something by BandM. I like the quicksilver. Is this basically a bolt in style without any major work or do i need to make a bunch of brackets and fixtures for the fit? How easy can i use the stock gen 4 shifter with a TH400 or how hard is it to fit a aftermarket one?
As far as the completely custom set up, does anyone know of a company that makes these? The best i've come up with was a company that makes a very generic fiberglass blocks that you had to cut and sand and paint for anything you wanted. I don't want to do anything to the shifter tunnel as that's pretty much out of my league on the restoration efforts of this car.
