Global West Body Mounts

Anyone have a picture or measurements of your 67-69 f body global west interlock bushings? I'm mocking up my sub frame today and the rear bushings don't clamp down tight on the frame. The rear bushing has a gap of 0.275" and the firewall bushing gap is 0.125". I noticed GW website shows a different number for use with their connectors- thinking maybe that's what I have since they would increase the overall thickness of the frame. From your picture, I can't understand why the upper bushing doesn't slide completely into the the other one, as mine do (shown in first photo). Also, are those the bolts that the bushings came with? The bolts that came with my kit look just like the old ones that came out of the car.

sik68- Thanks for the pics. Judging from your pictures I must have bought a totally mismatched set. I ran across them on ebay for $25 buy it now. It looks to me like the rear bushings must be stock height for global west subframe connectors and the firewall bushing must be a 1/2 inch drop. Looks like I'll be ordering a new set this week. The bolts came with a set of stock body mounts I had laying around. Did your set come with the bolts and washers in your picture? Who did you order yours from? Thanks again for your help! Nate

I got the body mounts from American Touring Specialties for $99.95. Jegs has them for $10 more

Isn't the small bushing for the radiator support?

No, the radiator support bushings have smaller inside diameter-they won't interchange with the body mounts.

Shouldn't the short bushing be used in the rear w/the addition of subframe connectors? Stock-height bushings in the firewall mounts w/rubber bushings in the rad support????
If you change the rake of the body sitting on the frame, then that amount is magnafied at the radiatir support (which doesn't make any sense, and would cause fender alignment issues). Seems to me like it would be better if the front support was rubber mounted anyway.

Stock replacement aluminum bushings would all be the same thickness. Like Steve's

Replacements w/connectors would be like Nate's.

I took some 3" aluminum bar stock in my lathe and whittled out my own set. What I needed couldn't be found in a catalog anyway.

I actually wedged my subframe with solid body mounts from pro-touring-fbody. Stock height bushing in the rear, 1/2" drop at the firewall and none at the rad support. Panel alignment took some work, but it is functional. You get less fender gap and equal suspension travel.
