Right now my 289' currently has 2-1/2" pipes to dumped Flows. I have a set of 2-1/4" stainless tips off a 5.0 I was thinking of putting out of the side. Will I get any kind of flow restrictions or is my motor small enough to where it wont hurt it. Thanks.

2-1/4 with an H or X is probably sufficent for most motors 327cid or less. There tends to be a trend to bigger and bigger pipes now, but the gains are questionable. If you do run 2-1/4, I'd suggest mandrel bends so you don't really have 2" dia or smaller tight spots at the bends.
