I ordered all my brake parts from gmpartsdirect.com. They tell me the passenger caliper is on national backorder, no ETA, cancelled order for that part. Everything else shipped and I got it all today. Called local dealers, nobody has them in stock, they all say they have to order it and it'll be there in a few days. I say...are you sure its not on national backorder? They say, well GM will tell us if it is 2 days or so after the order is placed.
It's not urgent, but I would like to get this caliper sometime soon. Where can I get it?
Thanks,
Jerome

I'll second Mr. Quick's suggestion. Joe has the best prices out there and is a great guy to deal with. Also, his calipers come FULLY loaded including pads and the caliper abutments.

Just a heads up, they must be back in stock. I just ordered a passenger side caliper on Monday from www.gmpartsdirect.com and I've already got a FedEX tracking number saying it will be here on the 17th. That's actually pretty quick as it's usually a special order item and takes a week or so for them to ship it out. Maybe since the shortage they've stocked up on a few more extra's?
