to match the heads or just give it a blend into the heads. I have dart 355 pro 1's which have been cnc ported. The intake is a dart single plane but is at the moment, as cast. Would I see any noticable difference in spending money getting the intake ported or would the F2 not notice the difference?

good thing about blowers/turbo's is that we stuff air in there....unless you're after every last bit of HP i wouldnt waste the $.
I havent ported any of my stuff, just a quick gasket match & go.

I think I will have enough power to play with! I will just port match the inlet to the heads and blend it in. The ports on the heads are huge in comparisson.
Thanks

I sort of go the opposite route, and clean up everything I can in the charge air's (and exhaust) path. I figure it can't hurt, and it might help get the last 10% of power out of the motor.
I took the time to clean up all the casting marks and smooth the intake runner leading edges, port match, and check up top where the 4bbl air door goes for interference.
With all the money you've put into it, why not search for the last bit of HP? For a small amount of handwork? That's the difference between first place and last...
